St. Augustine was chosen as the overall best city in Florida to live in by Money magazine. That kind of recognition has led tens of thousands of people to move near St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra in the last several decades. St. Augustine is a viable place and is also a pretty place with a wonderful quality of life and abundance of natural amenities like parks and beaches. Money said St. Augustine has an “average commute time of 18 minutes, with more than 14 percent of residents walking or biking to work regularly.
